During his tenure as a Civil Police Chief in the State of Goiás, several important initiatives were developed early in his public service career. These included serving as Deputy Internal Affairs Chief and participating in the general coordination of programs aimed at protecting threatened victims and witnesses.In 2010, he was invited to join the institution’s intelligence management, a period during which he began dedicating himself to the investigation of the most complex and high-profile cases in the State. In this context, he was responsible for implementing the State Police Unit for Combating Organized Criminal Activities (DRACO), where he established a working model focused on combating organized crime, confronting extermination groups, and other structured criminal organizations through coordinated action among law enforcement agencies, state police forces, and other federal units.

He later led the activities of the Civil Police in Goiânia and subsequently commanded the Superintendence for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime, a unit structured within the State Secretariat of Public Security of Goiás with a focus on intelligence operations. The objective was to implement investigative methodologies, institutional philosophy, and strategies aimed at combating white-collar crimes at the state level.

With extensive expertise in defense investigations, he holds a Law degree and postgraduate specializations in Labor Relations and Negotiation, Human Rights, and Public Security Management. He has served as a professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC-GO) and at ESUP/FGV.

FIELD WORK
